Charley B for Free is my garden plot on the internet. It's mostly a personal collection of writing and references for family and friends.

My work is in increasing the odds of success for efforts with lots of potential to improve where we live and work, that are underrated by others. This leads me to spend time with small businesses (in the hope of helping them become bigger and more impactful businesses).

I try to take the long view, which is hard in practice. Many of the best things in life exist because someone worked on a horizon longer than their own life. We need more good ancestors!
